A Wall of Roses

Yesterday, I was stunned by a wall of roses on my way to work.

The type of those roses was not special, and the colour was not my favourite. The stunning point was the number of flowers and how lively they were.

I captured parts of them. You can see it here:https://youtube.com/shorts/B5H_HNT_m0o?si=s0NP0zqELs2rvgvC

As always, if you find any mistakes in my pronunciation, please let me know.

OK, I’ll give some feedback! :-) I’m not sure why, but I had trouble understanding the first few words of the narration the first couple of times I listened to it. It might have been because the sentence starts with the object, an uncommon construction in English, so my brain had trouble catching up. Also, “surprise” sounds slightly slurred, like “suffrise,” but this might just be the recording. “Blooming” seems to have an extra syllable at the beginning, like “buh-loo-ming” (it should be “bloo-ming”). Nothing else leaped out to me.

You’re welcome! I wish someone would create a platform specifically for giving feedback on video / audio recordings. It would be much more convenient if I could simply record my comment as a short audio or video clip and insert/attach it at the correct location in the original. Transcribing the audio and then describing the pronunciation issue in written form is cumbersome. But I understand that LangCorrect is all about writing, so the developers might not want to build an audio correction module for it. I wonder if any of the other language learning sites offer something like this. Have you noticed any?

Thanks again! Yes, there are many different varieties of roses. There are currently four types on my balcony. 我这次的发音如何?如果有不好的地方,请帮忙指出来呀。要是很好,就请表扬,hahaha
