When I received the news that my niece Kathy would visit me, I jumped for joy. She is such a chipper girl and totally takes after her mother. Her plane was scheduled to get in on Friday, 7.30pm, but I already braced myself for a unconcentrated week at work on Monday because I could not wait to see her again. I went ballistic when I got an update on Thursday that her flight got cancelled due to Covid and that she would not be able to visit me.
