Today
My family woke up at 8 o'clock, as today is the weekend, while we wake up at 7 o'clock on weekdays. We had breakfast together.
As soon as my wife and I completed some household chores in the morning, we went to one of the branches of the National Museum of Korea in Gongju, which is located in the middle of Korea and was once the capital of the ancient dynasty 'Baekje'. It takes 30 minutes to get there.

I know what Baekje is too because I also studied Korean. I apologise, I think I misunderstood and therefore explained it wrong. Quotations are still not necessary unless you say, "...was once the capital of the ancient dynasty called 'Baekje'." It's not really used for proper nouns.
