There was a post today on the LangCorrect forum asking for user feedback on the topic of writing streaks, which might be changed (or even removed) in an upcoming site update (so please go there and give masemune a piece of your mind!).
Whether or not the writing streaks can help with language learning is something I cannot really say. Perhaps at the beginning they were useful, but for me, having to write daily has really felt like a drag. Something which is obviously not ideal. I think it might be time to start writing more in English, just to vent a bit and give myself a break.

It doesn't sound like you're angry with masemune, so "give masemune your thoughts" may be better. "give masemune a piece of your mind" sounds very aggressive, like "yell at masemune."
