Although news plays an essential role in shaping people’s lives, the way people perceive the world depends on the person who covers the news that suits their opinions.

In this sentence "perceive" needs an object; what are the people perceiving? I'm not sure if you're talking about how they "perceive the world" or "perceive the news."

Some people watch the news if it matches their opinion, while others considerwatch different viewpoints even though they don’t fitisagree.

I don't think "consider" works well because the question is about if people watch news with alternate viewpoints, not if they "consider" them.

In my opinion, I think watching news presented by people ofwith different ideas which I do not agree onisagree with is important.

Usually "agree on" is a specific topic or plan in question: "We agreed on a date for the meeting."

I think in this sentence "disagree with" fits better.

This is because it helps me to coversee the topic from various viewpoints and distinguish between facts and flawopinions.
