Today is day 110 of my daily English challenge. Today I spoke with my best friend from Columbia. We were talking for a long hours. He showed his an appartement who lives and expressed to me his concerns. I am gratful to God to have him in my life.

The phrase "his apartment, where he lives" while grammatically okay, is a bit redundant. I made the change anyways because it's not uncommon to even hear natives sometimes say a phrase like this despite how "clunky" it is. Plus, I think it still maintains the "vibe" of the original while sounding more natural.
