Today is day 106 of my daily English challenge. In the afternoon, I spoke with a friend over Skype. We haven't seen for three weeks ago. I spoke with her in English and Spanish. She was delighted because I didn't make a lot mistakes. She had corrected me and explained some of mistakes.

You can say "some mistakes" or "some of my mistakes" but not "some of mistakes". "She had corrected" would be used to indicate an action that took place even farther in the past, but you should use "She corrected" in this case because it is happening at the time of the event you are describing. For instance you could say "She had corrected my mistakes the last several times we spoke, and today she corrected some more of my mistakes".
