Writing Challenge,: Day 103
Today is Dday 101 of my daily English challenge.
day is not capitalised
I have just/I just finished my conversation towith my best friend over Skype.
although "I have just" is okay, speakers would tend to simply say "I just finished" as this is more natural sounding.
He can't visit me oin March.
use "in march" when referring to anytime during the month. If referring to a specific date like "on March 1"
I am so sad for thise bad news.
He told that his mother wants to travel or /to fly to Coluombia oin March.
same comment about using "in march".
as "to travel" and "to fly" essentially gives the same meaning you don't necessarily need both to sound natural.
Simply say "his mother wants to travel to Colombia in March" or "his mother wants to fly to Colombia in March".
I was expect ing my friend to come into Algiers to celebrate his birthday with my family, but unfortunately my wish didn't achieve.come true
