Writing Challenge 269

Today is day 269 of my daily English writing challenge. Today I sent to my friend an email, and I asked him, but I am not sure if my questions are correct or not.

Here are my questions:

How have you been lately?

Have you spend a great time with your mother and your family?
Today I also read the corrections who people corrected for me yesterday.

Today I can't film my recipe video because I feel tired to do it.

Corrections

Today is day 269 of my daily English writing challenge.

Today I sent to my friend an email, and I asked him, but I am not sure if my questions awere correct or not.

"I sent my friend an email" or "I sent an email to my friend". "Were", because the questions have already been asked.

Here are my questions: How have you been lately?

HaveDid you spendhave a great time with your mother and your family?

"Did you spend" or "Have you spent" both work, but I mainly see "spend" followed by quantitative (some, a bit of, a long) rather than qualitative (great, fun, miserable) adjectives.

Today, I also read the corrections from who people corrected for me yesterday.

"of" can be used instead of "from"

TodaUnfortunately I can't film my recipe video today because I feel tired to do it.

the initial sentence was fine, but starting two sentences with "today" is a bit repetitive, so I've rearranged it to flow better.

Feedback

Overall quite fluid, just some minor prepositions to add to make it flow perfectly.

Writing Challenge 269

Today is day 269 of my daily English writing challenge.

Today I sent to my friend an email, and I asked him, b stuff. But I am not sure if my questions are correct or not.

I think "I sent to my friend an email" is ok, but it sounds a little more natural without the "to". You can keep the "to" and still sound perfectly natural by swapping the order: "I sent an email to my friend."

Here are my questions: How have you been lately?

Have you spend a greatt much time with your mother and your family?

"Your mother and your family" is redundant.

Today I also read the corrections whothat people corrected for me yesterday.

In this sentence, "who" refers to the corrections, but we are only allowed to use "who" to refer to people.

Today I can't film my recipe video because I feel too tired to do it.
