Oct. 17, 2022
Dear Sir:
This is in reference to your email dated October 10, 2022 ragarding Reference number: P20223456. I would like to clarify that Reference number P20223456 was not a complaint but rather a request for assistance to/from various government agencies that provide medical assistance for chronic kidney disease patients.
With all due respect, sir, 1717 Hotline is not purely about lodging complaints. They also caters(?) to people who would like to request for an assistance. I even called 1717 hotline last Saturday, October 15 to verify with them if my call last May 2022 was recorded as a complaint and according to the lady who took my call, it was a request for medical assistance and not a complaint.
The complaint I lodge at 1717 last October 6 was about the non-collection of garbage that had been going on for more than three weeks and even got worsen because all the uncollected garbage in other parts of our subdivision were washed away by the flood to our street, which resulted in garbage pile-ups, terrible smell, and very unsanitary condition. Moreover, the pile-up become a breeding ground for houseflies, mosquitos, and other insects, which could cause myriad of infectious disease especially in the case of my elderly parents who both have health problems and weakened immune system.
This matter has been brought to the notice of the city government several times, but no action has been taken which is disheartening. Therefore, I decided to bring the matter to 1717 to address this concern with appropriate higher authorities.
I hope this clarifies the matter.
Respectfully yours,
Alexis
