By the end of 2022, ChatGPT was unveiled to the public and astonished the whole world. Just over a year after, we have witnessed nearly all high-tech IT companies pursuing this field. Such as Google's Gemini, Microsoft's Copilot, and more. I believe Apple will also be joining in sooner or later. Many articles that have discussed or compared these tools; however, the consensus is all of them are made in the USA.
I am thinking of whether AI technology will be capable of observing lies from people in the future. If that becomes true, how do people hide their lies? I sometimes believe the world is dominated by lies and truth, each comprising half. The most challenging aspect of AI technology comes from politics and religion.
Currently, nearly all AI refuse to answer or discuss questions about political or religious issues. This is evidence that AI is under their control.
Will AI Detect a Lie?

I don't know if this was intentional but I really like that the title rhymes, haha.
ByAt the end of 2022, ChatGPT was unveiled to the public and astonished the whole world.
"By the end of" is normally used to describe things that had already been happening and gradually progressed towards something. ChatGPT immediately made an impact when it was released, so it sounds wrong to say "by the end of."
Here's an example where it fits well: "The man began lifting weights at age 25. By age 28, he was able to bench press 300 pounds."
Just over a year after, we have witnessed nearly all high-tech IT companies pursuing thise field of AI.
Your sentence is grammatically OK, but to be clearer you should say what you're talking about, since ChatGPT is a specific product and not a field. Generative AI if you want to be very specific.
STech companies have released their own generative AI products, such as Google's Gemini, Microsoft's Copilot, and more.
"Such as ..." isn't a complete sentence on its own, it has to be added after something else.
I believe Apple will also be joining in sooner or later.
Many articles that have discussed or compared these tools; however, the consensus isa common element is that all of them are made in the USA.
"Consensus" is normally used when there is some debate or discussion to agree on. Since it is a matter of fact, there are better word choices.
I am thinking ofwondering whether AI technology will be capable of observdetecting lies from people in the future.
I changed "thinking of" to "wondering" because "wondering" means that you are not sure or are guessing about something that is not yet known. "Thinking of" is more generally used to describe having thoughts, thinking about specific topics, or coming up with ideas.
If that becomesturns out to be true, how dowill people hide their lies?
This sentence is mostly fine, I just think it sounds more natural this way.
I sometimes believe the world is dominated by lies and truth, each comprising half.
Half of what? The world?
The most challenging aspect of AI technology comes from politics and religion.
I feel like you are trying to say something more specific than this, but I'm not sure what it is. Here are some guesses based on later sentences:
"Ideological issues, such as politics and religion, present challenges for both makers and users of AI products."
"One of the most challenging aspects of designing AI products is how to treat political and religious issues."
"One challenge when developing AI technology is maintaining control over the content of its outputs. Certain topics like politics and religion are very sensitive, and what the AI generates may reflect poorly on the company, just as a badly-behaved employee would."
Currently, nearly all AIs refuse to answer or discuss questions about political or religious issues.
You can also say "AI models", or just "models," or "AI agents." The term "AI" is used generally to refer to the entire field or the concept of artificial intelligence.

It's a scary thought. Living in an Orwellian dystopia where you cannot hide anywhere, even in your own mind.
It comforts me to think of it this way: you can detect lies based on what someone says, how they say it, and what their body does while they're saying it. Even given all of that information, humans and existing lie detector devices still have significant error rates. AI might be able to marginally improve this, but short of being able to directly read someone's thoughts, there is no surefire way to tell.

Since the first idea talks about the future, it sounds better to state the verb in future tense of the second idea as well in the compound sentence
I sometimes believe the world is dominated by lies and truth, each comprising half.
Not really sure what is being said by, "[E]ach comprising half"

AI is a very interesting topic since a lot of media has predicted that AI will be the future and it seems we are seeing that start to become reality. Great job! :)
