I liked both English and Math when I was a student. Generally speaking, a person who is good at the second language is not good at math, and vice versa. I think, however, that is not true. Or rather, those two seems to interact well with each other.
私は英語も数学も好きであった。世間では語学の得意なものは数学は不得意で、その逆もまた真なりといわれているが、私の経験からいうと、必ずしもそうではない。むしろ、この二つの能力は関係が深いのではなかろうか。
