Music plays a big role in my life. If you'd stop by my room and if I'm there, I'm most surely with my headphones listening to it. I listen to music for two main reasons: entertainment and to increase focus.
One of my favorite activities is dancing. And what is dancing without music? Every time I want to shake my body at home, I search for some Japanese content, Vocaloid, or some kind of Rock on Youtube because I love chaotic music for this situation!
On the other hand, there are times when I want or need to calm myself down, maybe because I have some work to do, some drawing to draw, some books to study, or maybe it's just because I want to chill a little. In those cases, I can count on Lofi to help me. The reason is that this genre makes me relax but still allows me to focus on tasks.

When do you listen to music? How do you choose it?

I listen to music for two main reasons: entertainment and to increaseing my focus.
One of my favourite activities is dancing. -
you can connect this sentence to the next to make your sentence flow more:
'one of my favourite activities is dancing - and what is dancing without music?'
Every time I want to shake my bodygroove at home, I search for some Japanese csontentgs, Vocaloid, music or some kind of Rock song on Youtube because- I love chaotic music for this situativery reason!
- 'shake my body' is a bit of a weird phrase in English. 'shake my booty' would be a more sensible (and in my opinion, funnier) saying, but I've instead changed it to 'groove' for now.
On the other hand, there are times when I want or need to calm myself down, m. Maybe because I have some work to do, some drawthing to draw, or some books to study, or maybe it's just because I. Sometimes, i just want to chill a little.
you don't have to say 'want or need', just one or the other. you could also put one of them in brackets. also, you can separate this into multiple short sentences.
In those cases, I can always count on Lo-fi music to help me unwind.
it is a bit more natural to say 'music' after naming a genre, like 'lofi music' instead of 'lo-fi', or 'rock music' instead of 'rock'. it honestly depends on the context, but this is a general rule of thumb in my eyes
The reason is that this genre makeis is because it helps me relax but, while still allowsing me to focus on my tasks.
