What's the kindest thing that anyone has done for you?

Homestaying is always a wonderful experience for students and their hostfamilies, and that is the kindest thing that anyone has done for me. Home is where you can relax and be what you are, because it is only your family whom you are with. However, if someone is staying with your familly, it is no longer your home, and it can be stressful or troublesome. This is what hostfamilies do. When I was staying with a family in Australia, they treated me like a family member and were always kind to me, even if they had small children to take care of. I was really impressed when I noticed that they had chosem to have a student who was a complete outsider, from a different country, and of different values.

I get what you mean by 'homestaying' but hosting would probably be more correct/used.

Home is where you can relax and be whato you are, because it is only your family whom you are withyou are only with your family.

Thank you!

What's the kindest thing that anyone has done for you?

Homestaying iss are always a wonderful experience for students and their host families, and thait is the kindest thing that anyone has done for me.

"Homestay" isn't a verb, so I changed it to "homestays" and changed "is" to plural form "are" instead.

Because you are talking about homestays in general, the second half of the sentence feels a little awkward because you are talking personally.

"that is the kindest thing..." felt like you were pointing to something specific in the first sentence but because it was talking about students and families in general it felt a little confusing. I changed it to "it is the kindest thing..." which I think sounds more natural.

Home is where you can relax and be whato you are, because it is only your family whom you are withyou are only with your family.

"what you are" is also correct, but it's more common to say "who you are" in English when talking about being your true self.

It would sound even more natural to say "because you are just with your family."

However, if someone is staying with your familly, it i's no longer (just) your home, and it can be stressful or troublesome.

Just a minor spelling error, and a couple of optional suggestions. The sentence is completely correct, so my suggestions are not needed.

This is what host families do.

When I was staying with a family in Australia, they treated me like a family member and were always kind to me, even if(though) they had small children to take care of.

Another perfect sentence with an optional suggestion to sound more natural.

I was really impressed when I notic(realized) that they had chosemn to haveost a student who was a complete outsider, from a different country, and of different values.

"noticed" is okay, but I think "realized" makes more sense.

You could say "have someone over," but "host" is shorter and more accurate.

I'm so glad you had a great homestay experience! I would love to live abroad and do a homestay, but I wonder if I can still do that kind of thing anymore... This was well-written and I look forward to seeing your future posts! What is your favorite memory from Australia?

Thank you so much!!
And actually, I can't decide what the best memory is, because everything was perfect. I was really happy just to be there, and spend time with them. I even thought of living there forever!
