What three words would you use to describe today?

I would describe today as having been "cold", because it is cold all day, "busy", because I did a lot, and "short", because it seemed to go by quickly.

Corrections

I would describe today as having been "cold", because it iwas cold all day, "busy", because I did a lot, and "short", because it seemed to go by quickly.

The rest of the sentence is past tense so talking about the temperature should be too.
