What is your Opinion about Computers?

Some people say that computers have made life easier and more convenient. Other people say that computers have made life more complex and stressful. What is your opinion?

Just as society has developed the last century exponentially, the technology has improved as well. I have the opinion that computers have made life easier and simpler than before, this is because computers can use internet to find a lot of information, get in touch with relatives, and get a good performance at work.

First off, computers can use internet for finding any kind of information, which is amazing. If you have any sort of question, you can use your computer and with access to internet, you are able to find anything. For instance, when I was a freshman, I used to find much information on internet for my studies about my homework, report, additional explanations, and so on. If I had not had a computer when I was a student, it probably would have been more complex and stressful. Therefore, I reckon using computers helps a lot to students.

Secondly, people usually communicate with friends or relatives, even when they are living in the same city. Using computers is the perfect way to get in touch with anybody. My experience is a compelling illustration of this. Three years ago, I was living in Taiwan, Asia; and my parents were in Ecuador, my native country. If I wanted to contact them, only used my computer and logged in any software or website that let me make a video-conference with them.

Finally, computers make life easier, especially at work. Making presentations, writing reports, preparing documents, are only some advantages that computers can give office-workers. For example, right now I am teaching Spanish using a website and I can connect with my students through a software. I can prepare my teaching material, make some exercises, and practice some phonics; all these thanks to my computer. Thus, I do not believe that computers make work more complex, but rather, more convenient and easier.

To sum up, I strongly think that computers are an excellent tool, which help people to do different kinds of activities in our lives.
