What is your favorite holiday?

I love Christmas. Because Christmas is December 25th and my birthday is 26th, also New Year's Day is very close, so there a lot of events near by Christmas. City's atmosphere, TV show and gorgeous dishes, the whole world is fulfilled with peace and happiness. The world needs them now.

If your birthday falls on Christmas, why not give your presents together?

It flows more naturally to combine these two sentences here. You usually wouldn't start a sentence with "because."

Generally, it's good to use commas to set off adverbs at the beginning of a sentence. You don't need both "near" and "by" because they perform the same function.
