What I consider strange after 2 weeks on the platform
I feel a strong desire to write my first impression on the site today because later it will disappear, just will be swiped of by new fresher impressions .
So what is strange here at langcorrect and what could be different ?
First , why our language learners never write their goals when they wriing a text to be checked by others ?
It could be a special attention to a structure of a text or how they use some words, or may be a specific grammar rule.
What do they want to train?
For others it will be much easier to share their expertise and to give an advice if they know the goal of the exercise.
Second , almost all texts are either too small or too long. The best size from my point of view is 10- 15 lines.
Third , may be tutors can provide more comments . Almost all comments fields are empty, which is a pity.
And nobody reeats their texts. But they can be written the 2nd and the 3rd times hich is even better.
So I recommend to write clear goals ( they could be long term or short -term, not important), use different technics (like to translate texts, write during 60 sec, use different words, explain a something to a stranger). And write some texts several times seeing the improvement.

Nice write-up, I was able to get what you're saying, but some of the verbs you used weren't appropriate for the sentence. Well-done.
I've never thought of writing clear goals, but one of the main reasons I write here is because I want to practice the new words I've learnt.
About proofreaders writing comments, that's common, but I think it may be because, as native speakers, we are not really aware of the grammatical rules guiding sentence formation and because it's difficult to explain, sometimes there are no comments. If the learner keeps on making the same mistake because he/she is not checking the corrections, I won't be willing to comment as a proofreader.

Если люди не добавляют никаких уточнений, они просто хотят, чтобы носители исправили тексты. Это включает грамматику но также лексикон, подходящий языковый регистр, естественность (что звучит естественным или нет), стиль и т. д.
10-15 строк - это идеальная длина с точки зрения ВАШЕЙ, да)) Но «идеальная длина» очень зависит от потребностей студента. 10 строк на каком-либо языке - это уже очень длинно для новичка. А нельзя сравнить 15 основных фраз с 5 грамматически сложными фразами с особенной терминологией, например. Последний пункт (но не менее важный): в изучении языков регулярность важнее, чем количество. Раньше я писал редко но каждый раз писал очень длинные тексты. Сегодня пишу меньше но каждый день: могу сказать, что это было хорошим решением. К тому же очень длинные тексты иногда отпугивают корректоров...
О комментариях: Ну да некоторые не комментируют, потому что они просто хотят исправить, чтобы выбрать квоту исправлений (это грустно и такие корректоры никому не помогают но это так). Наверно у других нет времени. Другие совсем не умели бы объяснить. Они знают, что что-то звучит хорошим и правильным на родном языке но не знают почему. Большинство корректоров - не профессионалы.

I agree with all of @Monsieur_Elephant's feedback (Thank you, Google Translate). I would add that some people might not know what they need or want to improve, and beginners need a bit of everything. As for comments, one way to encourage them is by thanking those who make them.
