What Comes with a Pencil

Since entering university, I have mostly used pens for writing. But now, I find myself using pencils more and more.

Although sharpening them can be a bit of a hassle, pencils offer many advantages. Most obviously, they are erasable. You can draw faint, delicate lines or write with strong, bold strokes. I find that pages filled with pencil marks have a quiet beauty of their own.

Pencil writing, unlike pen, seems to reflect the passage of time and the layering of thought. Like a candle that gradually melts as it burns, a pencil visibly shortens as you use it — a small but tangible record of your thinking and effort.

In the morning, lining up a few freshly sharpened pencils on my desk feels like a ritual — a quiet act of readiness for a day of reading and writing.

This title is fine, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Maybe "What Using a Pencil Brings" or "What Comes with Using a Pencil"

I personally prefer pens because I think it makes my writing look more impressive, haha.

What Comes with a Pencila Pencil Makes Possible

The title is ok, but a better title might be something like this or "What Pencils make possible" Depending on the feeling you wish to convey.

Since entering university, I have mostly used pens for writing.

This is good and doesn't need any changes. For US English, you would say, "Since starting college,..." For some reason in the US everyone "goes to college" or "goes to a university" but elsewhere in the world people "enter university" English is fun!

Thank you! I also like the smell of pencil shavings(鉛筆のけずりカス). Next time, I’ll use "Since starting college" or "Since going to college" instead!
