Keeping secrets is often seen like bad and people thinks they have to keep the secret until their grave. But, surveys were made and they told that keeping good secrets can be good for our health. The whole point of keeping secrets is when you share it with the others. For example, when you're anouncing a pregnancy to your partner, it's a really pleasant feeling. But in some cultures, sharing the pregnancy too early is seen like bad because they are afraid of the devil eye.
