What are some other reasons that people work?

Just as people need to work in order to get money to live, others reckon working is a medium to reach many things that they want. For example, people work because they want to travel and explore other cultures, getting money to study, and do activities that they enjoy.

First off, I know money is the first reason why people work, yet others think differently. Some people work because they want to explore and learn different cultures, so they need some money to achieve that. My experience is a compelling illustration of this. When I graduated from university, I started working at a heat-water company. I worked around three years, and I saved some money to travel around Asia, specifically in Taiwan. It was my principal reason why I was working during almost three years.

Secondly, traveling is not the unique reason that people work. Some people work in order to study. They earn money, and after that, they are able to cost their studies. I remember when I was a student in university, I had a part-time job as private tutor. Depends on the student’s requirement, I taught many subjects such as math, physics, chemistry, geometry, and so on; therefore I could work and earn some money to cost my academic expenses. If I had not worked as a private tutor, I would have probably had hardships during my student status.

Finally, life is amazing and we should live in the best way we can do. Taking this advice as an example, I believe that people should work as an activity that they like. For instance, if people like to teach things, they may be excellent teachers or professors. Or if they like animals, they will surely be a vet or work with animals. Therefore, they can do jobs or activities that they really enjoy doing.

To sum up, visiting new places, studying, and enjoying jobs or activities that people do, are other reasons because they work.
