Meine Traumberuf ist Künstler sein aber das bezahlt ist oft nicht sehr gut.
Ich liebe Kunst. Es ist sehr wichtig für mich. Es halft durch schlecht zeit.
Kunst ist auch fast immer schön.

"Bezahlen" is the verb form for "to pay". I feel the best word for this would be "der Lohn" (salary) or "die Bezahlung" (pay).
"Dafür" is basically "for that", and it makes the sentence sound smoother.

Because it is "die Kunst", with die being the feminine article, it would be better to use "sie" to refer to it. When translated to English it would still read as "it".
