Want to give a great presentation?

Almost people are bored when see typical presentation with bullet points. And everyone is heard about how to important to have a story in presentation. But how to use story in visualizing? I have a three not trivial advise.
1) Use a nerd and ugly chart or map. Perfect is stopping to think, but hand sketch can help to improve or ask a question
2) Human think of image, so use metaphors. You should only ensure to clearly understanding
3) Change a bit metaphor, develop your ideas. If you can to build a sequence, it seems more convincingly
