El mundo es un mar de fueguitos. Cada persona brilla con luz propia entre todas las demás. No hay dos fuegos iguales. Hay fuegos grandes y fuegos chicos y fuegos de todos los colores. Hay gente de fuego sereno, que ni se entera del viento, y gente de fuego loco, que llena el aire de chispas. Algunos fuegos, fuegos bobos, no alumbran ni queman; pero otros arden la vida con tantas ganas que no se puede mirarlos sin parpadear, y quien se acerca, se enciende.

Por supuesto tú tienes un fuego muy loco. Pero tu fuego alumbra mi vida y me guarda caliente, y ojalá mi fuego haga lo mismo para tí. Aunque ardamos, ardemos brillos juntos.

The world is an ocean of little fires. Each person shines with their own light among the others. No two fires are alike. There are big fires and little fires and fires of all colors. There are people with calm fires that don’t even notice the wind, and people with crazy fires, filling the air with sparks. Some fires, silly fires, don’t light or burn, while others burn with so much passion that you can’t look at them without blinking, and whoever comes close catches fire.

Obviously you have a crazy fire. But your fire lights up my life and keeps me warm, and I hope my fire does the same for you. Even if we burn, we'll burn bright together.
