The other day, I took a musical vocal lesson. The music teacher instructed us while playing the piano.

"Vocal lesson" makes it quite clear that it is about music.

"Hey ladies!

I'm not sure wheather you all have athe will to take the exam or not.

But make up your mind and sing with determination as if you are taking an entrance exam."

The people who were taking the vocal lesson were all young girls except for me.

Of course , I didon't have any dreams like to be a professional musical singaer because I wasam not young anymore.

However, I sang a song with strong emotion as if I'mI were going to go ton an audition.

The music teachers's instruction was very wonderful.

After the lesson , I realized that my body was something different from what I used to bechanged compared to before taking the lesson.

Since I used a lot ofmy vocal chords, stomach mauscles, and had deep breath many timesing, in the end, my body organsfelt werell trained enough.

So I felt totally refreshed, as if I were born again!

As if I was reborn again.

Singing is not only about the act of sing, but it also it has a lot of benefits.

The verb agreement may be strange, but "As if I were" is technically the correct choice. However, many people still say "as if I was," too.
