Le plus grand problème au mon pays est le prix élevé du loyer. Chaque année, le prix d'un appartement devient plus élevé. Nouveau appartements sont en construction, mais beaucoup sont des appartements de luxe et très cher.
The biggest problem in my country is the price of rent. Every year, the price of an apartment rises. New apartments are constructed, but many are luxury apartments that are very expensive.

"au" already stands for [à+le], so "au mon" is impossible just like "on/to the my" would be impossible in English
"des loyers" would be a bit more natural, but "du loyer" isn't wrong in itself
