Two days ago, an avalanche occurred near Hakuba-Norikura Ski Resort in Nagano. Some people were caught in the avalanche. They were skiing off the ski course. Two of them died and one of them was an American who became the 2015 World Champion in freestyle skiing. He loved Japanese ski resorts. Avalanches are scary because even people like him can die.
2日前に長野県の白馬乗鞍スキー場で雪崩が起きました。数人が雪崩に巻き込まれました。彼らはスキー場のコース外を滑っていました。そのうち2人が亡くなり、1人は2015年にフリースタイルの世界チャンピオンになったアメリカ人です。彼は日本のスキー場を愛していたそうです。こんな人でも亡くなるので、雪崩は怖いですね。
