Universal Studio Japan (64)

I went to Osaka with my family.

On the second day, we went to Universal Studio Japan.

There's an area called Minion Park.

While I was walking there I saw a food stand that sells Minion's steamed bun.

I was curious about it, so I lined up to get one.

I guess one bun costs about 600 or 700 yen.( I don't really remember)

When I pay, the girl in the stand said "700 banana"

I was like "What?"

And she said again "700 banana" with a cute smile.

It seems like they say "banana" for "yen" in the area lol.

It was cute, and I liked it.

That's so cute!

I went to Universal Studios Japan last year, but I didn't go to Minion Park. I'm interested now in going to Minion Park next time. 😁

Ha! That’s really cool! I like it when they put little touches to the experience at theme parks like this.

Hahaha, I would have been so confused if someone had told me something like, "your total will be 700 banana." I would think it was pretend money and that I get the thing for free.

Thank you so much for your correction as always. I'd like to make my own pretend money with yellow paper. I would draw bananas on them. If I hand in the pretend money to them they would surprise! I'd like to try that next time!

The grammatically correct way to say it is "700 bananas" but I assume the girl really did just say "700 banana"
