It is horrible to get lost in an unfamiliar place, especially where you cannot make yourself understood in your native language. The feeling of the uncertainties like I got into a completely different world and I cannot go back to the normal one comes to my mind. Though not all the people have not had a experience like that, I think many people have suffered such a nightmare.
知らない土地で道に迷うのは恐ろしい事である。言葉があまり通じないところでは、一層恐ろしい。どんな目に会うかわからない別の世界に紛れ込んでしまって、元居た世界には二度と再び戻れないのではないか、などと思ったりする。実際にそういう経験はしなくても、そういう夢をみてうなされてしまったことのある人は少なくないだろう。
