C'est comme si tu ne sentais jamais rien en marchant dans ce putain d'endroit jusqu'au point où elle traverse ton corps. Je le referais probablement quand même. C'était au-delà de mon contrôle. T'as jamais ressenti ça ?

It's an expression in English to say the wheels are spinning/turning in your head. Typically it's just something that's piqued your curiosity (fascination in Jean's case) and you have a lot of thoughts/ideas come at you at once. It's often used to describe having a wave of inspiration.
