Who is your best friend? How did you meet him/her? How long have you known each other?
My bestie

I met my best friend around six years ago. We worked at the same school. She was working as a teacher and I was working at the office. I don’t remember the exact situation where we got to know each other, but I remember that there was one evening, where the whole company was at the theater, and we were sitting next to each other. I liked her from the first sight. She was very friendly, heart warming and her existence itself brought blessings into my life ever since. We started chatting a lot and from that day on, we got closer every year and now we are both moms. She has a son and I have a daughter and another very funny coincidence is that, she is Italian and she brought me closer to this language, culture and food. I took a lot of aspects from her cultural background and added them into my life. I hope, that we will be friends forever. Now I started to learn Italian again. I chat with her in Italian every day and this makes me so happy, because I’m her best friend in Germany. She came to Germany around 10 years ago and she told me, that in Germany, I’m her best friend. I’m very glad, that I met her and I hope that we will always be together.
