Hermit

My parents considered me a hermit.
My father was a taxi driver, who couldn't speak English.
And my mother was an electrician, who spoke Spanish.
I didn't have a good environment to learn English.
I seemed shy because I moved 18 times as a child.
That is to say, I'm not outgoing.
I just don't go to a party and start talking.
As I grow older, I am more careful about making friends.
I learned how to "hide" in new groups of people and decide who I wanted to be friends with.
I also have a hard time speaking in public.
But when I'm telling a story, I can talk easily.
Practicing speaking English requires either facing a mirror or facing a dog.
I'm not nervous because dogs never correct my grammar.
