Story 1
In the nineties, my colleagues and I earned lower salaries.
A few colleagues were a little vanity, so they were afraid that people would consider them poor.
During summer, we all wear thin shirts. Usually the shirts had a pocket on the upper left of the shirt.
The few colleagues always put one 100 RMB cash inside the pocket with the people-face side outward. Because the fabric of the shirt was very thin and relatively transparent, people could see the cash in the pocket.
A guy in my department was very designing. One day he had a chance to manage to leave an unnoticed sign on the cash. At the end of the summer, he said the cash in the shirt of the guy was still the same one.
You guys may laugh at this moment, while I am kind of sad because poor living conditions left me unpleasant memories.
Story 2
When I was young, my wife and I couldn't earn much money. My family was poor.
My wife managed my family's finances. I needed to ask her for some pocket money sometimes. Usually she gave me 20 to 50 rmb each time.
She had a terrible habit that she often asked me about how I spent the money one month later.
I was shocked when she asked me about that. I didn't think that she would ask me for a list of how I spent the money.
The worse thing was not this, but was that even though I had this kind of wife, I still dared not to leave her.
On the contrary, I had to treat her very well because I didn't want to lose my pocket money, and most importantly, I knew if she dumped me, there would not be a woman who was willing to marry me, even if they were so old and ugly.
A few colleagues were a little vainity, so they were afraid that people would consider them poor.
it's not wrong but it'd be better to say "some of them" instead of a few colleagues since we already know that you are talking about your colleagues.
A guy in my department was very designing¶
.
im not sure about what you meant here with the word designing
One day he had a chance to manage to leave an unnoticed sign on the cash.
Two Short Stories
Story 1
In the nineties, my colleagues and I earned lower salaries than we do now.
Usually it is good to add a bit of context. Lower than what? Lower than your current salaries.
A few colleagues were a little vainity, so they were afraid that people would consider them to be poor.
vanity = noun; vain = adjective
During summer, we all wearore thin shirts.
(past tense)
Usually the shirts had a pocket on their upper left of the shirtcorner.
You don't need to repeat 'shirt[s]' twice here.
The few colleagues always put one 100 RMB cash inside the pocket with the people-face sideside facing outwards.
I think this is what you meant?
And then FYI, outward and outwards is pretty much the same, this correction was just a personal one and is not really needed.
Because the fabric of the shirt was very thin and relatively transparent, people could see the cash in the pocket.
A guy in my department was very designing.
Not quite sure what you mean by designing here.
One day he had a chance to managed to leave an unnoticed sign on the cash.
'manage to' means that you actively did something, so there is no need to say that he had a chance to do something (theoretical).
At the end of the summer, he said the cash in the shirt of the guy was still the same one.
You guys may laugh at this moment, whilebut I am kind of sad because poor living conditions left me unpleasant memories.

Or 'she had the terrible habit of'
I was shocked when she asked me about that.
I didn't think that she would ask me for a list ofabout how I spent the money.
I don't think a 'list' is appropriate, because usually you would just buy 1-2 things with the 20-50 RMB each time.
The worset thing was not this, but was that even though I had this kind of wife, I still dared not to leave her.
On the contrary, I had to treat her very well because I didn't want to lose my pocket money, and most importantly, I knew if she dumped me, there would not be a woman who was willing to marry me, even if they were sovery old and ugly.

I hope your situation has improved since these stories occurred! Thank you for sharing. Mainly just nitpicking, good use of vocabulary + grammar structures overall.
