Argument

I can't remember the first time I ever won, but I do remember an argument I won when I was a senior high school student. I had trouble getting good grades in math, so my mom wanted me to attend a cram school -- using my spare time, of course. The problem was: I only had one day off every two weeks. So I didn't want to go.
We had a big argument, and in the end I said something like, "You don't care about my opinions." She looked very annoyed and hurt, and said:, "Fine. Do whatever you want." I won the argument and didn't need to attend cram school, but I felt terrible at that time.
That was a long time ago. I don't know whether to say lucky or unlucky, but neither of us cares about that argument now -- because obviously a better math grade can't help me find a job easily at all.
