I often notice mistakes in my videos after uploading them, even though I believed I pronounced the words correctly.

Feedback

All the flowers look amazing!

My small feedback would be to alter the pronunciation for "potted" slightly. Instead of a heavy "O" sound, its a little more like "paw"! In the video it sounded a little like "poutted" and should sound more like "pot". I hope that makes sense! Good job!

Such a variety of flowers! I didn't anticipate that a flower market in Shanghai would have so many potted plants. But it makes sense to give a plant that will last all year.

I only heard two extra syllables: at the beginning "wenta" when you were going to the market, and later "anda" when you talk about different kinds. I will also mention that the final "e" in "market" is a short vowel, so it is pronounced more like "it" than "ate."

Thanks again!

I'll try harder to solve this extra "a" problem!

Have a nice day!

@Tammy: In her correction and comments, Liag has already covered the issues I noticed in the video, so I won't repeat them.
It must be nice just to wander around the market taking in all the the flowers. :-)

@Tammy: I wonder if it would be helpful for you to do a vocal warm up before you make a recording? For example, if you write a script ahead of time, you could do this with words that end in "d" or "t" that you want to pay attention to; or if you don't write a script, you could warm up with words you use often like "and" and "went." You could sandwich the word you want to practice between words you know really well. For example, you could count to 10: "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 etc.," or "1 went 2 went 3 went, etc.," If counting gets boring, maybe use colors.

@Liag That's a great idea for warming up before recording. I'll try it next time!

@JoeTofu @Liag, Thank you both for last year's corrections and share! Today is the first day of the Year of the Horse. Wishing you a prosperous Year of the Horse!
