Trying to improve my English

Recently I have started to read in English, mainly classics and famous novels, in order to adopt a more complex and specific vocabulary. In fact, my English has been improving overall since I have started to do it, namely my fluently on the language and the use of fancier words. It was not a huge improvement though, but I can see myself more comfortable in the using of new words and constructions, and that, for me, it is a success.

On the other hand, one of my weaknessess on the language is writing. I mean, I think that my writing is not that bad, but it must be better. My approach to this problem is this website, that will be helpful in my path towards C1 or C2.

Is my first time here so I don´t know how much larger should be this writing.

Regards and thanks for reading.

Great Job! Just a few correction! I just noticed a few things, namely that you didn’t use contractions as often as you could and that you mixed up “in” and “on” a few times.

Trying to improve my English

Recently I have started to read in English, mainly classics and famous novels, in order to adoptcquire a more complex and sprecificse vocabulary.

In fact, my English has been improving overall since I have started to do it, namely my fluently on the language and the use of fancierreading, especially my fluency and the use of more sophisticated words.

"fancier" is not always good

IWhile it was not a huge improvement though, but I can see myself, I feel more comfortable in the using of new words and constructions, and that, for me, it is a success.

On the other hand, one of my weaknessess on the language is writing.

"on the language" is not correct... it's also not needed (we know the context). If you really wanted it, you could say something like "one of my English-language weaknesses".

I mean, I think that my writing is not that bad, but it mustay be better.

An accurate self-assessment! (:
