Trying a new English learning method
Recently I tried a new way of learning spoken English, which is thought up by myself and based on some English learning experiences from others. This method seems to work for me, so I want to share it with you.
Below are the main steps of this method:
1. Choose a TV show in English with both Chinese and English subtitles. I chose the British sitcom "The IT Crowd".
2. Turn off the sound of the videos. Pay attention to the Chinese subtitles and try to write down the English translation of each line.
3. Turn on the sound. Rewatch the video and compare the English subtitle with your translation. In this way, I can know what English expressions I wrote are not native-like.
4. Listen and read the lines again and again and try to memorize them.
最近我尝试了一个新的英语口语学习方法，这个方法是我在别人学习经验的基础上想出来的。我觉得这种方法还是挺有效的，想在这里分享给大家。
下面是这个方法的主要步骤：
1. 选一部有中英双语字幕的电视剧。我选的是英国情景喜剧《 IT 狂人》。
2. 关掉视频声音， 看画面和中文字幕，然后尝试自己用英语翻译每句台词并写下来。
3. 打开视频声音，重新看一次视频，把自己写的翻译和英语字幕做比较。通过这种方式，我能很明显发现自己自己写得哪些不地道。
4. 反复跟读记忆自己写得有问题的地方。
