Travel Group are Banned to Western Countries
The school summer holiday is coming up, and many school students will be on vacation for two months. However, this year is different from previous years. I couldn't find any travel groups to Western countries such as the USA, the UK, and Japan. The only travel groups available are to Thailand and a few small islands in Southeast Asia.
I really want to visit Japan with my family. It is the only country I would like to travel to again and again. I called one of my friends who works at a local travel agency asking about overseas travel groups. He laughed at me and said, "Don't you know that the sanctions have been imposed? You can only travel to Thailand with the group now, but you can visit other countries individually."
I don't understand why the government of my country doesn't care about our interests. Why do they want to fight with democratic countries? Do they really want to go back to the 1960s and 1970s? The political situation in my country is worsening. That's one of the reasons why you can see 100 times more of people from my country trying to smuggle into the USA through the Mexico-America border this year, they call the behavior as Walking.
I paid double the price for my flight tickets to Japan in July 2023 compared to early 2019. I will be visiting the country for 7 days with my family.

100 times compared to what? You need a comparison for this. Instead, you could say something like "...so many people from my country..."
