I spent a long time staying home. Apart from going to a restaurant, I didn’t go out. But today is different. Recently, because of some things, I didn’t want to go out. For instance, yesterday evening, I at first planned to go to Dongzhimen to watch a movie, but when I just went out I found that the temperature was really low: it was around minus 9 degrees. When I walked, cold wind blew on my face, it seemed like my nose would freeze off. I was born in Australia, and the lowest temperature in Australia wouldn’t fall below zero. But people there have to stand the continuous rainy days and unstable weather. I think Australians cannot stand Beijing’s weather. Fortunately, today is much warmer than yesterday, so I went to school to study.

You're quite right about the Australian weather being unpredictable, but it doesn't ever get to freezing temperatures. Good job!
