My grandma passed away last week.
She liked me and our family very much. Her assistant is her best friend. I think her assistant treated her better than I did.
My grandma had lived with my parents for five years. My mother had been helping my grandma. My father loved my grandma so much, but he was really busy. He rarely had the opportunity to chat with grandma. And grandma's ears were not so good, it was hard for her to hear what other people said.
Although grandma was not perfect, her experience was really helpful for me. She got married as a teenager. She often said to us, "Why did my mother let me get married so early?" Or perhaps "she often used her experience to help me" or "she was often able to help/guide me thanks to her experience".
