One day, I saw a friend’s WeChat moment and he posted a sentence in Chinese"虽家道中落, 但仍有万里河山". I really appreciate the sentence. I think it was bold, unrestrained, and you will be very touched after reading it. Afterwards, I wanted to translate it into English like below "although my family is declining, I still have thousands of miles of rivers and mountains. I don't know if this translation is proper. Can you guys give me a better one? Thank you so much.

One day, I saw a friend’s WeChat moment and he posted a sentence in Chinese: "虽家道中落, 但仍有万里河山"."

In English, we put the period (.) inside quotes (""), not after.

Afterwards, I wanted to translate it into English like below: "aAlthough my family is declining, I still have thousands of miles of rivers and mountains."

I don't know if this translation is propercorrect.

Can you guys give me a better one?

Thank you so much.

Nice work!

Can you explain the meaning behind "I still have thousands of miles of rivers and mountains"? Also what relationship does it have with the family declining?

It means that although my family is not as rich as it is before, but I still have a lot of property. for instance I still have many rivers and mountains.
