How do you include your target language in your daily life? Do you write shopping lists? Do you write memos at work? If you don't, how much time do you spend studying a day? Intermediate to advanced: Do you think immersion is needed to learn a language? Should you change your electronics to your target language to progress?

I'm not sure immersion is needed to learn a language. Some seem to manage to learn at school, by correspondance or online. But it is certainly helpful and, I think, the best way to succeed.
English is a bit THE language on the web, so I don't need to change my electronics to be in foreign territory. It's only recently that most electronic do adapt immediately to your own language. On a lot of sites I did visit at the time, English was (and still usually is) the basic option. Now you can sometimes choose the option "French" which I don't because I rarely need to. In my early years of learning, my broken pieces of English made me the computer genius of the family (which was hilarious because I still don't understand how those things work). As said by French humorist Anne Roumanoff, "When it (the PC) is really really angry, it talks English." Ah, the good old days of the Blue Screen of Doom, when I was called to explain WHAT was wrong this time. When I had to identify spam (the mailbox didn't do it for you yet. I'm feeling old, suddenly.) by translating confusing texts. "Did you purchase a... what is a water apapratus? Is that like a young hippo?" "I don't know! I was trying to purchase a sticker for my laptop." So many mysteries hidden in a language.
My reading English is very good, I can read novels and most books, except very specialized ones. I don't know how to say "my comprehension of what I hear" but it's getting really better. I can look videos in original version, listen to songs, follow some youtubers (but not all of them) and lately I am trying podcasts and Tedtalks... with more or less success.
For writing... well, I'm here.
