Today I watched some videos of the Winter Olympics. It's nice to see many foreign athletes speak highly of China. And I also saw the sportsmanship of the athletes. The athletes reminded me once again that I must persevere to the end.A miracle might happen.
In terms of study, I learned the knowledge of specialized courses and practiced oral English. The result of the postgraduate entrance exam will come out soon and I'm still nervous.
Finally, I would like to ask you whether the following sentence is correct(Or is there a better way to say it): "I will rationally analyze the gap between myself and others. Make up for your shortcomings. Every time I pass, I reflect on myself. And keep a diary."
Thank you very much~

不幸的是也有比较多网友用冬奥会来批评中国...making accusations of starving athletes or cheating or whatever
And I also saw the sportsmanship of the athletes. The athletes reminded me once again that I must persevere to the end. A miracle might happen.
In terms of studying, I learned the knowledge ofabout specialized courses and practiced oralmy spoken English.
Specialized courses这里意思不太清楚,你说的是什么样的courses?
The results of the postgraduate entrance exam will come out soon and I'm still nervous.
Finally, I would like to ask you whether the following sentence iss are correct(O (or isf there is a better way to say ithem): "I will rationally analyze the gap between myself and others.
The sentence is grammatically correct, but you would need some context to clarify what the gap is in (gap in performance, etc.)
Make up for your shortcomings.
Alternatively, compensate for your shortcomings.
Every time I pass, I reflect on myself.
As before, "pass" is ambiguous, would need some context.
And keep a diary.
This is not a whole sentence, it needs to be attached to some other sentence.
"
Thank you very much~

In regards to this sentence:
"Finally, I would like to ask you whether the following sentence is correct(Or is there a better way to say it): "I will rationally analyze the gap between myself and others."
It is unclear what you mean by "gap", so I wrote "difference". If you're going to say "gap" you need to use more than just this word by itself. If you are comparing your progress to other classmates' progress you might say, for example, "the gap in progress between myself and others". If you're talking about culture and politics, you might say "the cultural and political differences between myself and others".
The phrase "rationally analyze" is grammatically correct, but it is unusual to see this type of language outside of writing which is used in scientific papers or academia.
You could say "I will analyze the difference between myself and others", but that would imply you're studying the difference between yourself and others, like for a psychology paper.
You could say "I will endeavor to understand the difference between myself and others", which is formal, business-sounding language.
You might also say "I want to learn about the difference between myself and others." Which is a bit more informal but still OK for business and expresses eagerness.
In this context, the last three phrases mean that you would like to understand other people who are different from yourself. It implies that you want to understand their beliefs, attitudes, and etc. and to get along with them.
