My addiction to listening music is literally making me lose my hearing. My ears started to get really painful and I needed to go to the doctor, he gave me a list of exams that I need to do. I'm not really scared of but I think that will be very hard to get use to new habits without music.

It sounds more natural this way, because it's clearer that the exams are being done *to* you. You can also say "exams that I need to undergo," which is a little more formal.
