This Summer’s Goal この夏の目標

I love setting a goal every summer.
I know I don’t have to anymore since I’m not a student, but somehow, I still do it every single year.
It’s always a relief to finish the day’s goal.
This summer, I’m focusing on reading English textbooks out loud.
I hope that by the end of the summer, my vocabulary will have grown and my pronunciation will be more natural.

夏休みごとに目標を作って勉強するのが好き。もう学生じゃないからそんなことしなくてもいいのに、なぜか毎年に夏になると設定しちゃう。今日のノルマが終わるとホッとする。今年の夏は英語のテキストの音読。この夏が終わったときに少しボキャブラリーが増えて、英語の発音がうまくなっているといいな。

Corrections

I know I don’t have to anymore since I’m not a student, but somehowfor some reason, I still do it every single year.

"but somehow" would imply it's a challenging thing but you find a way to do it.

"for some reason" captures the nuance of not really having a clear reason for something.

Here's a titbit that you may find useful, whilst "out loud" isn't grammatically incorrect, "aloud" is a more formal version.
