I've been learning how to make pottery for two years. It gives me a sense of peace, and I met a lot of very sophisticated classmates. By seeing them and learning pottery with them, I get relaxed. Most of them are older than me, and two of them are non Japanese. One of them is from Thailand who got married to a Japanese man. The other one is from Malaysia. There are two old Japanese men in front of my seat. Without learning pottery, it could be difficult to communicate each other, but with the help of learning it, we always enjoy talk in class. Through learning pottery, I always enjoy the beauty of art and heart. It's not a comepetition, but a work of art made by all the people I meet in class.
