The typhoon number 10 is bearing down on our area, but now it's cloudy and still quiet around here.
It doesn't feel like it's approaching so far.
The last typhoon hit our area about two weeks ago.
The weather forecast told us it was a big typhoon, but actually it wasn't.
So I hope the typhoon number 10 isn't very big.

Even though you use the word "now" in the native version, in English it sounds unnatural. "Still" already gives the context that you're talking about the present time. And because "still" applies to both cloudy and quiet (it's still cloudy and it's still quiet), you put it before the first noun.
It doesn't feel like it's approaching so far.

1) "Would be" instead of "was". "Was" implies that the weather forecast told you after the typhoon came. "Would be" means that the weather forecast told you before the typhoon came.
