The Sunlight

I usually finish work around 6 p.m. My house is located about 20 minutes west of my workplace by car.
So on my way home, the setting sun shines directly into my eyes, and it's really dazzling.
My doctor told me I must always wear sunglasses because being exposed to bright light without them can increase my eye pressure.
However, even with sunglasses, the sunlight is terribly blinding at this time.

Corrections

My doctor told me that I must always wear sunglasses because being exposed to bright light without them can increase my eye pressure.

Completely optional. Both are okay. Adding that just makes you sentence easier to read.

Also, I think eye pressure is probably not the correct term. But I'm not a doctor haha. I'm just not sure that's what staring into the sun can cause.

Feedback

So good. Literally perfect.

Thank you for your correction.

I usually finish work around 6 p.m. My house is located about 20 minutes (to the) west of my workplace by car.

"To the west" is optional, but I think it sounds a little more natural here.

However, even with sunglasses, the sunlight is terribly blinding at this time.
