I think skateboarding is pretty cool, and I also think the scene of a group of people playing skayeboard together is very attractive. Though there are a few elementory students play skateboard, they just slip, do nothing technical. I had thought about learning skateboard for 2 years, the reason why I hesitated was that I was not sure if I could insist learning it. In the end, I thought it was time to start, so I started to learn in November 2020. I watched some teaching videos online before I went to the playground. I played alone in the playground in the middle school. It took me several hours to learn how to slip smoothly. And I found out that it was so tired after practising, I thought it was so easy when I saw others playing it.
After learning slipping, I learnt how to turn. Though the playground was too small to skateboard, when I was skating, I went through the wind like a sword. It felt like I was flying or surfing in the sea, which was extremely amazing. I never felt like this before.
I spent a long time to learn how to control the board naturely. When I was turning too fast and felt like I was going to hit the lamppost, I was quite scared. Actually, there was still enough distance for me to turn. If I had been confident enough, I should have succeed. It was more like a mental sport than a physical one. Eventhough, I still wasn't able to succeed every time. Because knowing didn't mean being able to.
Two months later, I thought I was able to learn some technics/styles. (I'm not sure the exact word.) I watched a few videos, some ups advise that shove it should be first style of fresh learner, while the others recommended ollie. I picked shove it. But I was so scared that I wuold get hurt. As a result, I didn't succeed. Eventhough I had practised for a long time. Then I started to learn ollie, it was the same result.
I saw a vedio of a little girl, who is good at skateboarding. She said: when you believe you can do it, you will succeed; if you don't, won't. I was totally agreed with her. I had got hurt a lot when I was young, such as the ankle ligament injury, which relapses easily and takes me long time to recover. I think I am brave enough, but my body remembers the pain and try to protect itself. So I am not sure I can do ollie successfully in the future.
BTW, summer is blistering, so I stop playing skateboard. I am not sure whether I will keep practising in winter, because playing lonely is quit boring.

I watched some teachingutorial videos online before I went to the playground.
I playedractised my skills alone in the playground in theof a middle school.
It took me several hours to learn how to slip smoothly.
Andfter practising for a while, I found out that it was so tired after pracactually very tisring, I thought it was so despite the fact that it looked way easyier when I saw others playdoing it.
After learning slipping, I learnt how to turn.
Though the playground was too small tofor skateboard, when I was skating, I went through the wind like a sworing and I went through it very quickly when I practised.
It felt like I was flying or surfing inover the sea, which was extremely amazing.
I had never felt like this before.
I spent a long time to learn how to control the board natureally.
When I was turninged too fast and felt like I was going to hit the lamppost, I wasgot quite scared.

It was more like a mental sport than a physical one.
Eventhough, IBut still I wasn't able to succeedturn successfully every time.
Because simply knowing didn't mean beingthat you can do something does not necessarily mean that you are able to do it.
Two months later, I thought I was able to learn some technicques/styles.
(I'm not sure the exact word.) I watched a few videos, some ups advise that shove it should be first style of fresh learner, while the others recommended ollie.
I am sorry but this sentence is incomprehensible to me
I picked the "shove it" style of skateboarding.
I am only guessing that that this is what you meant
But I was sovery scared that I wuould get hurt.
As a result, I didn't succeed.
Even though I had practised for a long time.
Then I started to learn ollie, it wasthe "ollie" style and I got the same result.
Then I saw a vediideo of a little girl, who is good at skateboarding.
She said: "when you believe that you can do it, you will succeed; i. If you don't, you won't".
I was totally agreed with her.
I had got hurt a lot when I was young, such as theer and suffered an ankle ligament injury, which. It relapses easily andwhich means that now I takes me a longer to time to recover if I get injured.
I think I am brave enough, but my body remembers the pain and tryies to protect itself.
So I am not sure I can ado ollipt the "ollie" style successfully in the future.
BTW,Since the summer is blistering, so I stop playing hot right now, I had to stop skateboarding.
I am not sure whether I will keep practising iwhen winter, comes because playskateboarding alonely is can be quite boring.
