The Responsibility of My Department

My department belongs to the agricultural Bureau of the local government. Its mission is to train farmers in my district every year.

We usually train about 300 farmers every year. They specialize in different fields, such as growing fruits, vegetables, crops and raising livestock. Each field is a class with fifty farmers.

They are not trained for a long time, only around ten days. The ten days of training is not finished in one time, but three or four times in different months according to the situation of the farmers' work.

When we are going to start the training for a year, we rent hotels, hire specialists and professional teachers. We don't train them by ourselves since we are just organizers.

The program is funded by the government, aiming to improve their professional skills and help them produce high - quality products. Farmers don't need to pay anything for the training.

My department belongs to the agricultural Bbureau of the local government.

"Bureau" doesn't seem to be part of the official name of a bureau here, so it shouldn't be capitalised.

(1) "Ten days" is plural, so you should use "are".
(2) Rephrased the first half of the sentence so that it sounds more natural. This wording is not easy to come up with.

When we are going to starting the training for a year, we rent hotels, hire specialists and professional teachers.

I rephrased the first half of the sentence so that it is more concise.

We don't train them by ourselves since we are just (the) organizers.

"We don't train them by ourselves" implies that you are still personally involved in the training; you just don't do it alone. Conversely, "we don't train them ourselves" implies that you are not personally involved in the training. I'm not sure which one you meant, so I'm just providing both possibilities.

The program is funded by the government, aiming to improve their farmers' professional skills and help them produce high - -quality products.

(1) It is not clear who "their" refers to here.

The case is that we don't teach planning skills to the farmers. We just organize the trainings and hire specialists to teach/train them how to grow things proficiently. So should I say "we don't train them ourselves"? Thank you very much.
